About Nakamise Dori Shopping Street

Nakamise Dori is a popular shopping street leading between Kaminarimon and Sensoji. It is full of small stores offering souvenirs and food.

Nakamise Dori is a 250m long shopping street lining the approach to Sensoji Temple. The 90-or-so stores sell a wide variety of souvenirs, ranging from packaged snacks and street food, through to cheesy mass-produced items and toys, and authentic traditional items like clothing and crafts.

The street is typically entered from Kaminarimon Thunder Gate on the way to Sensoji.
