Odaiba is an artificial island in Tokyo Bay, close to the Rainbow Bridge. A ultramodern entertainment hub, it offers attractions for the entire family, including shopping, dining, museums, and beautiful vistas over the bay.

Daiba Itchome Shopping Alley
A small shopping “theme park” recreating a retro ambience of the Showa-period 1960s, set on the 4th floor of the Odaiba Decks shopping centre.
Daikanransha Ferris Wheel
Standing at 115 meters tall, Daikanransha at Venus Fort is the second tallest Ferris wheel in Japan still in operation. The 16 minute ride offers spectacular views over Odaiba and Tokyo itself, including the Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Skytree.
Dream Bridge
The widest pedestrian bridge in Japan, it offers splendid views over the Daikanransha Ferris Wheel, Palette Town and Odaiba.
Fuji TV Hachitama Observation Deck
Many travellers marvel at the futuristic Fuji TV Headquarters building set on Odaiba, but few realise that the unusual orb structure is actually an observation deck! The deck offers a stunning panoramic view over the Odaiba waterfront and Tokyo Bay from the 25th floor - great at any time of day, but even more spectacular in the evening.
National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation
A seven story science and technology museum offering a wide range of fun and educational activities. Exhibits cover a wide range of sciences, including geology, robotics, biology, space and more.
Odaiba Seaside Park
A large man-made beach on the shore of Odaiba, with sweeping views over Tokyo Bay, Tokyo Tower and Rainbow Bridge.
Swimming is prohibited, but the area offers many different water-sports at different times of the year.
Odaiba Takoyaki Museum
A food theme park - restaurants and shops - dedicated to the Osaka street food delicacy, takoyaki. Five different restaurants offer different kinds of takoyaki at reasonable prices. Shops offer a wide range of takoyaki themed souvenirs, cookers, and snacks.
Rainbow Bridge
The 798 metre long suspension bridge is officially part of the Shuto Expressway, but affectionately known as “Rainbow Bridge” by locals due to the vibrant lighting that changes throughout the year.
Connecting Shibaura and Odaiba, it offers spectacular views over central Tokyo, Tokyo Bay and the artificial islands nearby.
Toyota Mega Web
An automotive theme park, Toyota’s Mega Web has a range of activities for car lovers. With over 60 models on on display, including current and futuristic models, as well as historic models.
Unicorn Gundam Statue
Standing 19.7 metres tall, this animatronic statue is a replica RX-0 Unicorn Gundam from Japan’s well known Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn series of novels, manga, anime and games. The replica moves and lights up several times a day - every two hours from 11am, and every half hour after 7:30pm.
teamLab Borderless
One of the best known digital art installations in Japan, teamLab Borderless covers 10,000 square meters. Hundreds of computers and projectors produce an interactive and immersive multi-sensory art experience.
The installation is incredibly popular, so tickets are best booked online in advance.
